PRICE LIST
These are stain based decorating Slips. The colour is not usually are not affected by the temperature, although some can get a little deeper in colour at higher temps and some can go lighter. Many people buy the white and add their own stain combination. Please remember that slips are based on a white clay powder and so any colour produced will be a pastel version of that stain, brighter with a top glaze applied
The pictures show it fired and with glaze coat and with bright lights on them.

Wipe bisque ware to get rid of salts produced during the bisque firing.
The salts can reboil during glaze firings to cause problems as well as block the pores that the glaze needs to grip to get a good physical integrity.
Fast bisque firing can trap gasses which then reboil during a glaze firing expanding and splitting open ware, bloating and warping; as well as creating pin holes, crawling and peeling off glazes.
Slow bisque firing can solve many glaze firing problems. 50oC from 750-950oC is our prefered rate.
