Potters Kilns

Over the years we have looked at stocking many types of kiln but always ended up coming back to Rohde, Nabertherm and the British made Kilncare kilns.

They have such a wide range of well engineered kilns,  good quality control regimes and a wide practical choice of dimensions.

Usually we have  20-30 Top Loading kilns in the main Doncaster warehouse.

 We  have some of these kilns on display at Doncaster and Exeter showrooms particularly the 13 amp plug in top loaders - but for the three phase kilns, front loaders and larger top loading kilns we would always need to order them in specially for you.

• We usually have a number of kilns from Rohde, Kilncare and Nabertherm in stock. Often 30 kilns in our main UK warehouse.
•  Lead time for kilns not in stock is usually 6 to 8 weeks for the smaller kilns - 8-11 weeks for the larger kilns, with delivery by tail lift vehicle - lowered off the back of the lorry only.
• Rohde top Loaders often come apart to go through 99% of doorways, and can be a lot cheaper than a front loader. The Ecotops do not come apart.
• Front Loaders are in one piece and very heavy, so careful thought must be given to doorways, steps, slopes etc - we can only offer help putting it in place if you are close to one of our branches. You may need to consider using industrial movers for the largest front loaders.
• We are happy to give advice about kiln size, ampage (single / three phase), start up routine and we pre-program the controllers with gentle firing curves to give you the best results.
