VC13 Earthstone 40 - Hand Building

ES 40 (Hand Building) Earthstone is tailored for a variety of hand-building techniques, providing a sturdy and dependable material for creating intricate and large-scale sculptures. Its high grog content gives it the stability needed for constructing detailed and expansive works, such as handmade tiles and ceramic murals. The coarse Molochite not only reinforces the clay but also enhances its texture, making it easier to shape and build without compromising the integrity of the final piece. With a firing range similar to ES 5, ES 40 can be utilized for both mid-range and higher temperature firings, adapting to various glazing and finishing techniques.
